Manage Service User

On the [User Management] page, you can confirm the user information registered with the service, invite users to the service, add users, edit user information, and delete users.

Confirm User Information

You can confirm the information of the user using the service.

  • Click [User Management] on the service management page.
    • You can display the [User Management] page also by clicking the numeral of [Number of Users] on the [Service Information] page.

  • Search for the target user.
    • Select the criteria to filter your search by user status from the pull-down menu.
      • You can select a filtering condition from [Not Specified], [Valid], and [Invalid].
    • Select the criteria to filter your search by remote ID federation from the pull-down menu.
      • You can select a filtering condition from [Not Specified], [With Federation], and [Without Federation]. However, no filtering condition appears for the tenant not enabling remote ID federation.
    • Enter the name, e-mail address, or group name of the target user.
      • When you leave the field blank and search, all the users belonging to the service are displayed.
      • You can search also by entering a part of the text string. In this case, all the users that have the same text string as the entered text string are displayed.
    • Click [Search].

      The target user is displayed.

Invite User to Service

You can invite users to the service.
When you invite a user to the service, the user receives the invitation e-mail and starts the service use procedure via the invitation e-mail.

  • See “User Invitation Management” to check the statuses of the users who received the invitation e-mail.
  • It also is available to invite multiple users in a batch. For more information, refer to Process Many Users in a Batch.
  • When you set no home tenant for the invited user, the tenant in which the user has participated via the invitation e-mail becomes the home tenant.
  • You cannot invite users with “Invalid” status.
  • Click [User Management] on the service management page.
    • You can display the [User Management] page also by clicking the numeral of [Number of Users] on the [Service Information] page.
  • Click [Invite User].

  • Enter the user information.
    • Enter the e-mail address of the user to invite.
    • Select the language of the invitation e-mail from the pull-down menu.
    • Click [Accept and Proceed].
      • Some services display their optional services. If you allow to use those optional services, select the checkbox of the ones to allow.

  • Confirm the input information, and then click [Send Invitation E-mail].

    The invitation e-mail is sent to the target user, and the [Invitation E-mail Send Complete] page appears.

Add User to Service

You can add users to a service.
Follow the appropriate procedure according to whether the user to add is already belonging to the tenant or not.

  • When added to the service, the user receives an add complete e-mail. Unlike the case of invitation, the user need not make any procedure.
  • When you set no home tenant for the added user, the tenant to which the user has added becomes the home tenant.
  • You cannot add users with “Invalid” status.

Add the User Not Belonging to the Tenant

  • If a newly added administrator has no account of FUJIFILM BI Direct, the added administrator needs to register the password by clicking [Forgot password?] on the login page of FUJIFILM BI Direct.
  • Click [User Management] on the service management page.
    • You can display the [User Management] page also by clicking the numeral of [Number of Users] on the [Service Information] page.
  • Click [Add User].

  • Enter the user information.
    • Enter the name or e-mail address of the target user.
    • Enter the name of the target user (given name and surname).
    • Select the language of the add complete e-mail from the pull-down menu.
    • Click [Accept and Proceed].
      • Some services display their optional services. If you allow the user to use those optional services, select the checkbox of the ones to allow.
      • Click [Clear Input] to delete all the input information.

  • Confirm the input information, and then click [Add].
    • An add comple e-mail is sent to the target user.

Add the User Already Belonging to the Tenant

  • Click [User Management] on the service management page.
    • You can display the [User Management] page also by clicking the numeral of [Number of Users] on the [Service Information] page.
    • It also is available to add multiple users in a batch. For more information, refer to Process Many Users in a Batch.
  • Click [Add User].

  • Search for the target user.
    • Select the criteria to filter your search by remote ID federation from the pull-down menu.
      • You can select a filtering condition from [Not Specified], [With Federation], and [Without Federation]. However, no filtering condition appears for the tenant not enabling remote ID federation.
    • Enter the name or e-mail address of the target user.
      • When you leave the field blank and search, all the users belonging to the service are displayed. Only up to 100 users can be displayed regardless of the filtering condition. If the target user does not appear in the search result, change the filtering condition to reduce the number of users to be displayed.
      • You can search also by entering a part of the text string. In this case, all the users that have the same text string as the entered text string are displayed.
    • Click [Search].

  • Select the checkbox of the target user.
  • Click [Add].

    The user is added.

Edit User Information

  • Search for the user to delete from the tenant by following the steps 1 and 2 of Confirm User information.
  • Click [Edit] of the target user.

  • If there is no need to edit, select [Back].

    • Some services display their optional services. If you allow the user to use those optional services, select the checkbox of the ones to allow. Click [Update] after the setting is changed.
    • Depending on the service, the [License Usage Information] field and the number of licenses used are displayed. You may click the link of the number of licenses to confirm the license usage information.
    • For the tenants enabling remote ID federation, the [Authentication Provider] field appears to allow you to confirm the associated authentication provider.

Confirm the License Usage Information

You can confirm the license usage information.

  • Click a number under [License Usage Information] on the service user edit page.

  • You can confirm the information on the license used by the target user.

  • Check the license check box and click [Delete the Selected License Usage Information] to delete the information about the license used by the target user.

  • Click [Delete].

    The information about the license used by the target user is deleted.

Delete User from Service

You can delete users from the service.

  • You will fail to delete users in the following cases:
    • The deletion candidates include the operating administrator.
    • The deletion candidates include the remote ID federation user.
    • The deletion candidates include the user with the higher administrative permission than the operating administrator.
  • Search for the user to delete from the service by following the steps 1 and 2 of Confirm User information.
  • Perform the following operations.
    • Select the checkbox of the user to delete.
    • Click [Delete Selected User].
